Sometimes The Boy doesn’t talk to people. He’d rather make noises. Like squawks. He squawks a lot when he is feeling nervous around someone who he knows. With strangers he is usually quiet and hides under my shirt. But sometimes when he is feeling happy and silly he squawks at strangers too.

Heidi hides under my shirt too. Can be a little embarressing at times now she is getting taller.

Yes, a tad embarrassing, especially with an 8 year old boy. I wish I could come up with something else that he could do that is much more socially acceptable…I can only imagine the looks we will get when The Boy is 12 or 13 and still trying to hide under my shirt.
